Cursor Usage Analysis — Tomas Paulus
Based on analysis of 345 conversations from August 2025 to February 2026 Prepared for Cursor Workshop (February 2026)

The usage spans software development, content creation, marketing, business strategy, design, automation, personal health tracking, and creative projects. He communicates with Cursor in Slovak, Czech, and English interchangeably.

Key Patterns & Insights
How Tomas Works with Cursor
-
Cursor as Operating System — Not just an editor. It's the central hub for ALL work: code, copy, strategy, personal tracking, creative projects.
-
Markdown as Universal Format — Everything flows through markdown: strategy documents, content, team updates, health logs. Cursor converts between markdown ↔ HTML ↔ Framer ↔ CSV.
-
Multi-language Workflow — Conversations happen naturally in Slovak, Czech, and English, often mixing languages within the same session.
-
Monorepo as Second Brain — The "Vibecoding" workspace is a personal knowledge management system with projects, context files, tools, and inbox — all managed through Cursor.
-
AI as Expert Panel — Simulates expert panels (pricing strategists, SaaS experts, marketing specialists) for strategic decisions.
-
Pipeline Thinking — Builds end-to-end pipelines: content → images → audio → web publishing. Uses Cursor to orchestrate multiple AI APIs (OpenRouter, Gemini, ElevenLabs, Replicate).
-
Design System First — Created reusable design systems (pages_ds) and generates all web pages from them, ensuring visual consistency.
-
Daily Driver — Used every day, including weekends. Daily health logs and work sessions are continuous.
-
MCP Power User — Uses Model Context Protocol for Framer, Make.com, and browser automation, extending Cursor beyond local files.
-
Iterative & Incremental — Conversations show iterative refinement: first draft → expert analysis → visual polish → deployment.
Frequency by Day (approximate)
- Most active: January 2026 (100+ conversations)
- Pattern: Morning strategy/planning → midday development → evening personal tracking
- Weekends: Active with creative projects (stories, personal health, strategy)
